Having played now for several years, particularly at Buenavista Golf, I realised that fellow golfers in Scotland and in the United Kingdom were losing out on the excellent benefits available from playing golf, with particular regard to the costs during our summer months.   As you are all aware, Tenerife, like most sunshine holiday resorts, do increase their prices very substantially during our own winter months but it is my opinion, and the opinion of many people, that our own summers will be less stable and more liable to rain and have stronger winds than we have experienced in the past and also we will probably experience a lack of prolonged summer weather which we have known in years gone by.   This therefore provides our members with an excellent opportunity to take advantage of these magnificent offers made by my contacts in Tenerife, many of whom are now firm friends and who will do everything they can to make your stay and visit to Tenerife a memorable one.

     Club Tajinaste Golf is, at the present time, concentrating purely on the island of Tenerife but we are already making inroads to utilising the wonderful facilities and amenities available at the other Canarian Islands in association with the Canarian Golf Federation.   They are particularly keen to promote golf in The Canaries and have been most helpful in our endeavours to secure the best possible financial arrangements for our members.

     I would like to make it totally clear that this is just the beginning of Club Tajinaste Golf and, as many of you are well aware, large discounts can be obtained by having the ability to buy in quantity.   We have decided to take the growth of our organisation step-by-step, but regular newsletters to our members will be issued giving additional benefits available as they come on board.

     By joining this organisation at this time, you are becoming part of an exciting organisation which, in due course, will be able to provide you with untold discounts in all forms of, first of all, the golfing world and also in other areas.   We also intend to team up with an American organisation similar to ourselves who have 77,000 members and this again will be of enormous assistance to those people who belong to our organisation.

     It is our intention, and we are now proceeding with this, to expand our interests to the newer golf resorts like those in Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Dubai and Turkey, to name but a few, which will be very exciting indeed for our members.   Due also to our connections with all the major golf federations in Europe, our members will eventually receive huge benefits from our connections with these institutions.
